Cleaning tips for garden furniture that lasts
Please don't put our products in the washing machine or take them to the dry cleaners.
In most cases, all you will need to spruce them up is a brush, a damp cloth and/or a hose.
General cleaning:
- Brush off loose dirt
- Prepare a cleaning solution of 60ml mild soap per 4 litres of lukewarm water (under 38°C)
- Use a sponge or a soft-bristle brush to gently clean
- Allow the cleaning solution to soak into the fabric
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
- Allow fabric to air dry

Spot cleaning:
- Prepare a cleaning solution as above
- Work the solution into the stain by lightly scrubbing the area with a sponge or very soft bristle brush
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
- Blot excess moisture with a clean, soft towel or sponge
- Repeat these steps until the stain is removed
Salt water:
Salt water and sea-spray will not damage our bean bags or garden furniture.
However, prolonged immersion in salt water will damage the metallic zips. Therefore, we recommend rinsing off salt water as soon as possible.

Heavy cleaning for stubborn stains:
The fabric we use for all our garden furniture is mould-resistant. However, mildew may grow on dirt that's left on the fabric.
To clean:
- Prepare a solution of 225 ml of bleach and 60ml of mild soap per 4 litres of clean water
- Spray on the affected area and allow to soak into the fabric
- Scrub vigorously with a soft bristle brush, sponge, or clean towel
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
- Allow fabric to air dry
If the stain or mildew is severe, bleach quantities can be increased.
