Can I leave it outside in the rain?
Yes, all our garden furniture can be left outside, whatever the weather. We use a marine-grade fabric that’s weatherproof and dries out quickly, so a British shower is nothing to worry about.
It won't fade in the sun or rot in the rain, which is why we back it with a 5-year guarantee against both.
For year-round outdoor living, we'd recommend using a cover or bringing it inside over winter, not because it can't handle it, but because it'll extend its life and keep it looking its best for longer.
We sell covers designed to fit, so it's straightforward to protect when it's not in use.
How does it hold its shape over time?
Like all bean bag furniture, the filling will gradually compress with regular use; that's normal and nothing to worry about. When you notice it starting to feel less supportive (probably around five years from the point of purchase), simply top it up with fresh beans to restore its shape.
Is it designed for permanent outdoor use?
The fabric is UV- and weather-resistant, so it can happily live outside through a British summer without fading or deteriorating.
