Can I leave it outside in the rain?
Yes, all our garden furniture can be left outside, whatever the weather. We use a marine-grade fabric that’s weatherproof and dries out quickly, so a British shower is nothing to worry about.
It won't fade in the sun or rot in the rain, which is why we back it with a 5-year guarantee against both.
For year-round outdoor living, we'd recommend using a cover or bringing it inside over winter, not because it can't handle it, but because it'll extend its life and keep it looking its best for longer.
We sell covers designed to fit, so it's straightforward to protect when it's not in use.
How does it hold its shape over time?
Like all bean bag furniture, the filling will gradually compress with regular use; that's normal and nothing to worry about. When you notice it starting to feel less supportive (probably around five years from the point of purchase), simply top it up with fresh beans to restore its shape.
Is it designed for permanent outdoor use?
The fabric is UV- and weather-resistant, so it can happily live outside through a British summer without fading or deteriorating.

How is this sun lounger different from a standard bean bag?
Unlike a traditional bean bag, the sun lounger has a more structured shape that supports you. The fill is plush but holds its shape underneath you, making it comfortable to lie in for entire afternoons and much easier to get up and down from than standard bean bags.

Will it get uncomfortable to lie on when it's hot?
No, and this is what sets our fabric apart. Unlike synthetic outdoor materials that trap heat and leave you sweating or peeling yourself off the seat, ours is breathable enough to stay comfortable even on warm afternoons. It has the feel of cotton but with all the weatherproofing built in.
