It’s been a busy summer for us at Armadillo Sun. We introduced some colour-popping new designs to our luxury bean bag outdoor and indoor furniture ranges which have been very popular. That’s kept us hard at work as every single one of our products is handmade right here in our workshop in the Kent countryside. The Tulip Orange bean bag lounger and the Palm Ocean bean bag seat design have been our best sellers.

Then we were invited to attend the Southampton Boat Show in September, to showcase our signature waterproof, mould- and fade-resistant bean bag loungers and seats, which makes them perfect for boat and yacht furniture. But before that, we had a new website to build! We’ve added a whole load of new stock, all our latest furniture designs in every colour, shape and size. Choose from bean bag seats or the fully reclinable loungers, add a table or footstool in complementary colours and accessorise with some cushions made from the same practical, wipe-clean fabric. We’re really pleased with how our new website has come out - what do you think?
Waterproof, weatherproof boat furniture
We had great fun at our first Boat Show. Because the exclusive fabric we use to handcraft all our bean bag furniture and cushions is made from a robust sail-like fabric that’s waterproof, mould-resistant and doesn’t fade, our bean bag seats and loungers are ideally suited for boats and yachts. They certainly went down a storm with the visitors to the Show - as did the marquee next to us when the tail end of Hurricane Florence hit us! Luckily as all our products are weatherproof, our bean bag seats survived!
